A Recent Poll On Civility Finds Twitter More Refined Than Fox News

Weber Shandwich and Powell Tate (say that ten times fast…) conducted a survey with KRC Research on the broad topic of uncivil behavior in American culture. The media and pop culture rocked the charts, coming in respectively at 74% and 75% in incivility. Fox News checked in at 51% and Twitter at 38%.

Meanwhile, Oprah and dinner table conversation were marked as some of the most genteel aspects of our society, coming in at 17% and 7%. Really, America? You need to amp up those dinner table convos.
